For 20 years now, Trans Mix systems have been forging the way for more efficient, high quality and certified screed production on the world's construction sites. Operating on a fully-automatic logistics system that draws on raw materials, Trans Mix equipment is designed to transport, mix, process and deliver industrially-produced and certified screeds. All mobile logistics units are available either as a single, dual, or triple chamber silo system – as a semitrailer unit or a four axle, truck-type mounting.
All Trans Mix systems are built according to a standardized construction procedure. While the front-mounted Power Pack centrally houses all engine components, the trough is generally made up of two separate chambers. One chamber can be filled to store aggregate materials like sand or styrofoam and can even be equipped with a protective cover to guard against atmospheric conditions. The smaller, closed binder chamber serves to transport cement or binder compounds. Depending on the type of Trans Mix machine, the rear of the vehicle is equipped with either a mixing vessel combined with a worm pump to produce and deliver free-flowing materials, or a mixing and delivery vessel for producing and pumping earth-moist screeds or fill.
Upon programming the desired mixture into the Trans Mix's computer, the unit's trough is hydraulically raised on the construction site before all aggregate and binder components as well as water and additives are either dosed by weight or volume (depending on model type) before being processed in the mixing unit and pumped to their delivery location. Trans Mix systems' fully automatic and consistent production process therefore guarantee both high quality screeds and cost-efficiency.
